The Swedish Deaf Youth Association is an organization for you who are young and use sign language, with about 900 members throughout Sweden.
It doesn’t matter if you are deaf, hearing impaired, or hearing who have deaf or hearing-impaired siblings and parents.
The most important thing is that you use sign language or are interested in sign language! SDUF tries to ensure that you as a deaf and hearing-impaired youth have the same opportunities as everyone else in society.
SDUF’s most famous profile might be our camps which we have been organizing every summer for several decades. All camp activities are of course in sign language.
Camps are not just about play and mischief, but also an important part in the work of strengthening the identity and self-esteem of deaf and hearing-impaired children and young people.
