The Psoriasis Association is an advocacy organization for individuals with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as those who support our objectives. We offer community, knowledge, and engagement.
Our overarching goal is to ensure that everyone with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis can live a good life. Therefore, we work towards increased investment in research, improved healthcare and treatment options, and raising awareness and understanding of what it’s like to live with these conditions. We carry out this work through advocacy, information campaigns, and education.
The association is part of the Swedish tradition of grassroots movements, and our activities are based on democratic principles such as equality, rights, and the opportunity to participate in decision-making.
Our mission is to disseminate information and knowledge about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, advocate for better healthcare and treatment opportunities, strive for psoriasis patients to have the same economic and social standards as other citizens, provide support and advice to our members in collaboration with regional, county, and local chapters, and contribute to the development of research and more effective treatment methods for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
