Spes
Spes is a nationwide non-profit organization that is non-partisan and religious and is for anyone who has lost a family member, relative, partner or good friend through suicide.
Everyone who is active in Spes has themselves lost someone close to them through suicide.
Spes is an abbreviation for the National Association for Suicide Prevention and Survivor Support and means hope in Latin.
We offer support and help to survivors. We train contact persons, have a support line and chat for survivors and offer meetings and self-help groups for survivors.
Spes also has youth activities in different parts of the country.
On Facebook we have a closed group where survivors can support each other in a safe environment.
DHS
DHS The Disability Movement in Helsingborg
DHS is a party-political and religiously unbound umbrella organization for local disability associations in Helsingborg, which was formed at the request of Helsingborg municipality in 1967.
DHS’ purpose is to coordinate and be a support for the various disability associations in the city and to pursue disability policy issues, mainly at municipal level.
DHS has a full-time ombudsman, Björn Tufvesson-Alm, as well as office staff, who carry out activities according to the board’s decisions.
DHS member associations have various activities both for your well-being and for you to progress with your social rehabilitation. Some associations also have courses in self-care. If you choose to organize yourself, you can work for a better everyday life for yourself and others in the same situation.
Organizing can also be a way to meet others and break social isolation. Through DHS, you can get information about your rights and be guided to the association that best meets your needs.
In addition to the core activities, DHS runs a number of other activities on behalf of the city of Helsingborg, see under the tab: Our activities
ALLA KAN GYMPA
Alla kan gympa is a training concept for people with disabilities, e.g. movement impairment, neuropsychiatric and/or intellectual disabilities.
Within the framework of Paragymnastics – Alla kan gympa, there is both training that enables the association to be able to start operations directly, support material that facilitates communication and marketing, but also tips on exercises in the Movement Bank and lesson suggestions.
In an Alla kan gympa group, you can, among other things, practice basic motor skills, coordination, strength, endurance and move to music. Here we play, build courses and test different types of equipment. The body can be trained in so many different ways
Everyone can exercise can be summed up in one word – joy!
We start from the joy of movement and see opportunities instead of limitations and adapt the activity based on the needs of each individual participant.
Some groups have a particular focus on their activities and practice, for example, mostly trampoline, team gymnastics or parkour, while others play, dance and practice balance and run obstacle courses.
Please watch the film Alla can go to camp, which gives a good picture of everything that Alla can gym is covered.
