Mitt Speciella Barn is a non-profit association based in Helsingborg, composed of passionate individuals dedicated to supporting children and families living with neuropsychiatric and developmental disabilities.
Our founder, Mohamed Askalani, was inspired by his own experiences as a father of a child with autism to create a safe and inclusive platform where families can find information, understanding, and community.
We are proud to be associate members of DHS Funktionshinderrörelsen i Helsingborg, which strengthens our network and enables us to reach and support more families.
This website — and the multilingual expansion of its content — is currently being developed with support from Allmänna Arvsfonden, which helps us make reliable information and resources more accessible to all.
The original version of this platform was created in collaboration with Visionsfonden i Helsingborg, whose early support made this initiative possible.
Importantly, we maintain a non-political and non-religious stance, ensuring that our sole focus remains on the individuals and families we serve.
