Mitt Speciella Barn is a non-profit association association based in Helsingborg, composed of passionate individuals dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs and their families. Our founder, Mohamed Askalani, was driven by personal experience as a father of an autistic child to establish this association. We are proud to be associate members of DHS Funktionshinderrörelsen in Helsingborg, strengthening our network and the services we can provide. This website is a project created in cooperation with Visionsfonden I Helsingborg. For more information about this collaboration, please refer to this link: [Visionsfonden Helsingborg].
Importantly, we maintain a non-political and non-religious stance, ensuring that our sole focus is on the individuals we serve and their needs.
We welcome collaborations with individuals, organizations, businesses, and volunteers who are aligned with our mission. Financial contributions are also essential in helping us expand our services and develop valuable resources. Support from associations and families is crucial as we strive to create an inclusive society.
Our mission is to increase awareness, advocate for rights, and provide necessary resources for individuals with special needs. We aim to foster an inclusive society that promotes independence, inclusion, and overall well-being of individuals with special needs.
Our vision is an inclusive society where individuals with special needs are accepted and celebrated. We aim to extend this vision across the Skåne region and throughout Sweden. We aspire to a community that values diversity, providing equal opportunities and support for everyone, thereby fostering a society where all individuals are valued and empowered.
Our association is based in Helsingborg, where we work closely with local organizations, authorities, and community members. Our ultimate goal is to extend our impact beyond Helsingborg, reaching across the Skåne region and eventually all of Sweden.
